SCloudMP3 is built on a privacy-first foundation. We do not require you to create an account, register an email address, or provide any personal identification to use our free downloading services. We do not store, archive, or maintain databases of the audio files, songs, or playlists you download through our service.
2. Data Processed During Conversion
When you submit a SoundCloud URL into our downloader, that URL is transmitted temporarily to our processing workers solely to resolve and extract the publicly available audio stream from SoundCloud's content delivery network (CDN). Once the audio stream or download package is served to your browser, no conversion data or user-submitted URL is permanently retained.
3. Server Logs and Technical Data
Like most modern websites, our hosting servers may automatically record standard, non-personally identifiable technical access logs. This data may include your browser type, device operating system, referring URL, timestamp of request, and anonymized IP address. We use this information strictly for system security, DDoS prevention, rate-limiting abuse, and performance monitoring.
4. Cookies and Local Storage
SCloudMP3 does not use tracking cookies or advertising pixels to monitor your web browsing activity across third-party websites. We may use minimal browser local storage strictly to remember your preferences (such as your chosen language or dark/light mode state).
5. Third-Party Services and Links
Our service interfaces directly with SoundCloud public endpoints to fetch stream metadata. When you request a download, your device interacts with our servers and SoundCloud CDN nodes. Additionally, optional supporter payments are processed securely by Ko-fi and PayPal; SCloudMP3 never receives or stores your credit card or financial information.
6. Data Security
All communication between your browser and SCloudMP3 is secured using end-to-end 256-bit SSL/TLS encryption. We implement strict cloud security protocols to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, or interception of data in transit.
7. Children's Privacy
SCloudMP3 does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate measures.
